The Cheat River Lodge Properties offer several fine accommodations, and amid our friendly atmosphere you will find all the comforts of home. Nestled below 4,000 foot mountaintops, the various properties are within a stone's throw of the Cheat River at an elevation of 2500 feet. The Cheat River Lodge was acquired by Joe and Roxye Marshall in 1984. Since, the Lodge itself has been slowly transformed from a rustic hunting and fishing inn to a romantic riverfront getaway. In addition, seven cabins have been added as vacation rentals. The cabins range from riverfront to mountain, log to stone, and historic to contemporary, but they all have a private hot tub! The Cheat River Lodge and the Marshalls have earned an excellent reputation for their hospitality which has been recognized by numerous travel guides and newspapers.

Directions:
Go East from Elkins on US Route 33. US Route 33 will become a 4-lane highway. At the top of the mountain, make a left at the Stuarts Recreation Park Exit (about 4 miles from Elkins). Proceed 1.5 miles to the green bridge, but do not cross. Make a right onto a one lane road. The Inn is located on this corner near the bridge. The Company Store and Lodge are just beyond on the right.
