WV State Wildlife Center
This modern zoological facility displaying native and introduced state wildlife is operated by the Wildlife Resources Section of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. The Wildlife Center is dedicated to presenting visitors a realistic and factual understanding of our state's wildlife. Spacious enclosures allow the animals to interact with their environment to exhibit more natural behavior patterns. Interpretive signs help the visitor to learn more about each animal's life history, biology and its relationship with humans. Directions: Go North from Elkins on US-33 [S Randolph Ave] for 24.9 miles Keep RIGHT onto Ramp Turn LEFT (South) onto US-119 [SR-20] Road name changes to SR-20 [Locust St and Kanawha St] for 12 miles
