The organization specializes in artistic enrichment programs for children. The mission of the Old Brick is to bring arts and culture to children ages 5-18 in the Mid Atlantic Region. There are five extensive programs offered. They include the Apprenticeship which is an after school program for ages 12-18, Camp Kids Playhouse during the summer for ages 4-18, a literacy project called Acting Up Literally for first through third graders, and finally the children's touring theatre which travels throughout WV and the Mid-Atlantic region. The Old Brick Playhouse is also home to Elkins Area Community Theatre Christmas show.
