Biennial event (2009,2011, 2013) Held on the weekend closest to July 11th each year. Commemorative reenactment of the July 11, 1861 battle that lead the Union to victory and control of the turnpike as well as propelling Gen. Geo. McClellan to leadership of the Army of the Potomac. Living history, artillery and cavalry demonstrations, encampment tours, camp dance; benefit memorabilia and relic auction and more. |
