Cost: $35.00

Located in the Monongahela National Forest, these depression era rustic, historic buildings include two bunkhouses and a main cabin, hand-pumped water, and a great porch for sitting. They’re surrounded by streams, beaver ponds, miles of maintained trails, and thousands of acres of West Virginia wilderness.

Directions:
Go East on Elkins on US 33 for 14.6 miles and turn south on Forest Route #14 at Wymer. Continue south on FR #14 for 18.2 miles to the entrance road to the cabins, which is marked by a sign. Open gated road with the combination provided by the Greenbrier Ranger District and proceed ¼ mile to cabin site.
